Mr Raphael Wood
Non-Executive Chair
With a career that has spanned all aspects of environmental markets Mr Wood brings a broad knowledge and unique perspective to all issues in carbon and environmental markets.
In June 2018 he founded Market Advisory Group (MAG) and is its Managing Director. MAG enjoys a reputation for being one of Australia's preeminent independent carbon market advisory service providers.
Mr Wood spent 2.5 years as the Head of Environmental Markets with Australia's largest carbon project developer GreenCollar, and prior to that 5 years advising the Federal Government on establishing and operating environmental markets within the Clean Energy Regulator's Office.
With a professional career that began as an exploration geologist in locations including the jungles of New Caledonia, Mr Wood then spent a decade as a stockbroker and investment advisor.
Qualifications include a Bachelor Science (Geology) and FINSIA Post-Grad Diploma of Financial Services.
Mr Anthony Fitzgerald
Managing Director
Mr Fitzgerald is an agri and environmental businessman with 40 years operations and senior management knowledge.
For the 6 years prior Alterra Ltd divesting its carbon assets to Carbon Conscious Investments Ltd (CCIU) Mr Fitzgerald oversaw the science that supported the business and leading commercial management and governance to comply with the CFI Act / generate ACCUs and meet the needs of corporate clients. On the formation of CCIU in January 2019 he became Executive Director and delivered the first dividends to shareholders in May 2019.
Other experiences have included management senior roles in domestic and international grain markets, farmer networks, large scale animal production, and regional level land conservation projects.
Qualifications include a Bachelor of Agribusiness (1st Hons), an AFMA Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Services, and graduate membership of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mr Andrew McBain
Executive Director
As a founder of Carbon Conscious who served in non-executive and executive director roles between 2007 and 2020, Mr McBain has a deep knowledge of the carbon farming sector and the operations of the Company.
Mr McBain’s business career extends over 20 years and includes founding and managing a number of ASX and non-ASX businesses in carbon, agribusiness, and mineral exploration.
Mr Paul Jensen
Non-Executive Director
Mr Jensen is an accomplished director, having served as an executive and non-executive director for over 20 years on ASX listed and unlisted boards, with extensive experience across a range of sectors.
Qualifications include a Commerce and Administration (Accounting and Commercial Law) from Victoria University Wellington and he is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mr Gregory Harvey
Non-Executive Director
Mr Harvey is a highly experienced and insightful executive with more than 25 years in international agribusiness.
Mr Harvey is currently a partner of Pendulum Capital, and Managing Director of PenAgri Group and Alterra Limited. Previous roles include Harvest Road Group, and CEO of one of Asia’s largest grain processors Interflour Group.
